Galleri Rostrum Malmö 2005/ 06
Videoprojeceringen POSER gick som en stillbildsanimation på en av väggarna, med teckningar som löper in och ut ur varandra, utan ljud, c:a 40 tecknade på figurer som står och går på olika sätt. Jag undersöker rörelsen hos figurerna och det uppställda och överdrivna tillsammans med den rörliga bilden. Vad uttrycker dessa figurer? Änsamhet, utsatthet får en annan innebörd i en teckning. En rörelse, skiftet mellan två bilder,uttryck och hot, protest och ödesmättad stämning. Min frågeställning är vad rörelsen har för betydelse och vad film betyder, när den ända rörelse är när den ena bilden glider igenom den andra för att se en ny figur och pos.
På den motsatta väggen visade jag frames i form av 42 löv som är likadana, men på olika sätt blyertsfyllt dem. Det är en film men, som bilder på väggen. En tanke- form om hur film ser ut.
Vem ser tiden som ett mönster av löv, tid och rum och Rostrum, rost och nedbrytning och glömska i ett långt perspektiv. Ett löv faller och trädet går i vila. Min utställning på Rostrum handlar om tid som i ett flyktigt försök gör anspråk på att skapa en visuell bild av något som ständigt rör på sig.
Barrikad, skulpturerna har jag gjort i gipsformar som en vanlig gjutning men i pappersmassa. Papper är ett mycket trevligt material att jobba med och man återvinner papper från olika tidningar och känslan att ta i dem är fin, framföraallt lätt.
För att få mer effekter i skulpturen, blandade jag i mer blankt och svårsmält papper som gav små färgfläckar på ytan. Jag har också provat med pigment. Men tycker att det blev bäst med den naturliga grå färgen i det här fallet.
Runt om de tre skulpturerna finns ihoprullade silkespappersbollar. Silkespapper är ett material som jag jobbat med för sin transparens skull, mest på 2-d bilder. Här skapar det en upphöjd stämning av materialet.

I examine the movement of the characters and the set and exaggerated with the moving image. What expresses these figures? Änsamhet, vulnerability takes on another meaning in a drawing. A movement, the shift between two images, expressions and threats, protests and fateful atmosphere. My question is what the movement has meaning and what the film means, when the only movement is when one image slides through the second to see a new character and pos.On the opposite wall showed I frames in the form of 42 leaves that are alike, but in different ways pencil and filled them. It's a film but, like pictures on the wall. A thought-form of the film looks.Who sees the time as a pattern of leaves, time and space and Rostrum, rust and deterioration and oblivion in the long term. A leaf falls and the tree goes to sleep. My exhibition at the Rostrum is about time that in a fleeting attempt claims to create a visual image of something that is constantly moving.Barricades, the sculptures I have made in plaster molds as a regular cast but in pulp. Paper is a very nice material to work with and to recycle paper from various newspapers and the sense to take in them is fine, make everything easy.To get more effects in the sculpture, I mixed in more shiny and indigestible paper which gave small color patches on the surface. I've also tried with pigment. But think it was best with the natural gray color in this case.Across the three sculptures are rolled up tissue paper balls. Tissue paper is a material that I've worked with for their transparency's sake, most of the 2-d images. This creates a sublime atmosphere of the material.Barricade is a recurrence, a pattern, a woman.
